Harbor Pacific Capital LLC is a Silicon Valley-based private investment firm focused on venture capital and growth equity investments in the United States, China, and Korea.

Formed in 2010, Harbor Pacific primarily invests in opportunities where we, along with our relationships, networks, and resources in Asia, seek to provide unique advantages to our portfolio companies.

The firm’s founding partners met at Stanford Graduate School of Business, come from family businesses in Asia, and maintain strong relationships with select multinational companies, most notably the LS Group in Korea. Other relationships in China and Korea include family business groups, major corporations, and government policymakers and regulators. However, please note that we are an independent financial investor and not the investment arm of the partners’ family businesses.

The firm is dedicated to supporting and investing in growth companies. The firm has selected four industries—consumer & internet, software & services, hardware & infrastructure, and clean technology—where we believe our involvement would be most impactful. We measure our success based on our ability to help our portfolio companies grow, which in turn generates investment returns for our investors.

We are currently investing from our first fund. Launched in 2010, the fund consists of institutional and individual investors from Hong Kong, Korea and the United States, spanning major business groups across various industries. We are considered the first in the industry to successfully receive Korean regulatory approval to raise onshore capital from Korean individuals to invest in an offshore fund.
